ITZY is seeing a surprise new wave of momentum as their 2020 b-side “THAT’S A NO NO” is suddenly climbing again and reaching a major chart milestone nearly six years after release.

According to reports, ITZY’s IT’z Me track “THAT’S A NO NO,” originally released in March 2020, entered Melon’s Top 100 for the first time ever on March 24 at 9 AM KST, landing at No. 100.

The unexpected chart entry is drawing major attention because the song was never promoted as a title track, making its delayed rise even more notable as a fan driven reverse run.

K pop fans quickly celebrated the milestone online, with many calling it a true ITZY comeback moment and praising the group’s stage power.

Fans shared reactions like “A ‘THAT’S A NO NO’ boom is coming,” while others said, “A group that performs as well as ITZY should rise higher,” “It’s ITZY’s spring,” and “Let’s keep climbing.”

The renewed momentum appears to have started after ITZY performed “THAT’S A NO NO” for the first time during their new world tour ‘TUNNEL VISION’ in February.

The performance reportedly received explosive cheers from fans, and after the strong response, JYP Entertainment uploaded the concert performance video on the group’s official social media channels.

That performance clip quickly gained major traction, with fans once again highlighting ITZY’s reputation as “performance queens.”

The video reportedly reached No. 1 on YouTube Korea’s daily trending music video chart, while also seeing fast rising views. The song then continued climbing on Melon’s daily chart before finally entering the Top 100.

The group has continued to feed the momentum with more stages. ITZY appeared on Mnet’s ‘M Countdown’ special stage on March 19, then performed the song again on M2’s ‘Relay Dance’ content on March 22, responding directly to the renewed fan demand.

As of the morning of March 24, the M Countdown official stage video had reportedly surpassed 2.02 million YouTube views, while the Relay Dance video had passed 340,000 views, showing that the buzz around the song is still growing fast.

The timing is also especially interesting because ITZY member Yuna just made her solo debut on March 23 with her mini album and title track “Ice Cream,” adding even more attention to the group during this sudden viral moment.

With “THAT’S A NO NO” now officially entering Melon Top 100 for the first time nearly six years after release, many fans are watching closely to see if ITZY’s surprise reverse run can continue climbing even higher.
