Actor Kim Seon Ho is drawing attention again after sharing a calm and confident update through a new pictorial, following the recent resolution of tax related suspicions tied to his former one person agency.
On March 19, Harper’s Bazaar released a new pictorial featuring the actor, showing off his soft charm and strong charisma in a variety of moods.
The release quickly became a hot topic as fans focused not only on his visuals, but also on his honest thoughts about acting and his current mindset.
In the interview, Kim Seon Ho reflected on the strong response to Netflix’s Can This Love Be Translated? and shared how meaningful the project was to him.
He said, “Looking back, every moment felt like a journey,” and added that it was a project he found hard to let go of, even saying his eyes “filled with tears a little on the last day of filming.”
He also spoke sincerely about what keeps him moving forward as he continues balancing both screen and stage work.
Currently appearing in the play Secret Passage: INTERVAL, Kim Seon Ho said, “I am truly happy just to be able to act,” while adding that he often reminds himself that “liking something and being good at it are separate things.”
He explained that the effort to improve as an actor is what helps him stay grounded and keep going.
His comments are getting even more attention because they come shortly after he addressed the tax related suspicions connected to a family run corporation that operated as his former personal agency.
Through his current agency Fantagio, Kim Seon Ho previously explained that he had already taken steps to address the issue.
These included submitting records of past corporate card use, returning family salaries and the company vehicle, and paying additional personal income tax on top of the corporate tax that had already been paid.
He also shared that the corporation is currently being shut down and that the administrative process is nearly complete.
At the time, he also offered a public apology, saying he “deeply reflect[s]” on having established and maintained the corporation without enough understanding, and added that he was “sincerely” sorry.
With the issue now largely addressed, many are turning their attention back to Kim Seon Ho’s steady acting career, as his latest pictorial and heartfelt words continue to draw supportive reactions from fans.
