BTS’s Jin is once again proving his strong solo power in Japan, as his album ‘Echo’ continues to post major year end results across multiple key charts.

According to Oricon’s 2025 year end album ranking, Jin’s solo album ‘Echo’ ranked No. 39, making it the highest ranking K pop solo album on the chart. It also stood out as the only K pop solo album to enter the list, drawing attention to Jin’s continued popularity in one of the world’s biggest music markets.

His momentum did not stop there.

On Billboard Japan’s 2025 year end charts, ‘Echo’ ranked No. 24 on the Download Albums Chart, making it the highest ranking K pop release overall, including both groups and solo artists. The album also ranked No. 41 on the Top Album Sales Chart, once again becoming the top K pop solo album on that list.

Jin also made another notable record by becoming the first K pop solo artist to place three solo albums on Billboard Japan’s year end Top Album Sales Chart. Even more impressively, each of those albums recorded the highest yearly position among K pop solo albums in their respective years.

His overall artist power in Japan is also clearly being reflected.

Jin ranked No. 58 on Billboard Japan’s 2025 year end Artist 100 chart, marking the highest position among Korean male solo artists.

The strong results have also extended beyond music albums.

Jin’s solo concert Blu ray ‘#RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR in JAPAN’ previously ranked No. 1 on the Oricon Weekly Video Chart, while also reaching No. 1 on Amazon Japan, Rakuten DVD/Blu ray bestseller charts, and the Universal Music Japan Store hit products chart shortly after release.

With ‘Echo’ becoming the only K pop solo album on Oricon’s year end ranking, topping multiple K pop solo records on Billboard Japan, and continuing to show strong demand across concert and physical releases, Jin is once again proving that his solo popularity in Japan is operating on a level of its own.
