NewJeans’ Haerin has stepped back into the spotlight with her first individual activity since returning to ADOR, reuniting with Dior for a new magazine cover.
On August 14, Marie Claire Korea revealed Haerin’s September issue covers through its official social media accounts. The project was created in collaboration with Christian Dior Beauty and marks Haerin’s return to solo magazine activities.
Introducing the shoot, Marie Claire Korea wrote, “We captured Haerin’s clear and lively moments, like the beginning of a new season.”
The magazine added, “In a setting reminiscent of a newly bloomed flower in an old Parisian garden, we captured Haerin’s unique face where loveliness and confidence, elegance and freedom exist together.”
For the pictorial, titled THE FIRST BLOOM, Haerin poses with a single rose while presenting a soft and elegant atmosphere alongside Dior Beauty products.
The project also reunites Haerin with Dior, a brand she has worked with since 2023. She was previously selected as a global ambassador for Dior Jewelry as well as a house ambassador for the brand’s fashion and beauty divisions.
The new shoot is especially notable because it is reportedly Haerin’s first magazine cover appearance since ELLE Japan in February 2025 and her first individual activity following her return to ADOR.
Haerin and fellow NewJeans member Hyein announced their return to the agency in November 2025 following a dispute surrounding the group’s exclusive contracts.
No detailed plan for NewJeans’ future group activities has been announced yet.
ADOR previously stated, “We plan to announce NewJeans’ specific activity plans and methods after discussions are completed.”
With Haerin now appearing in a new Dior-backed cover project, attention is turning to what individual and group activities may follow next.
