Seo Kang Joon and Ahn Eun Jin are showing a more realistic and emotional side of long-term romance in the upcoming KBS 2TV drama A Love Other Than Yours, as their characters begin facing serious tension after spending 10 years together.
A Love Other Than Yours follows Nam Goong Ho, played by Seo Kang Joon, and Lee Mi Do, played by Ahn Eun Jin, a longtime couple who have become deeply familiar with each other but suddenly find themselves struggling with feelings that were not there before.
The newly released teaser focuses on how their once exciting relationship has gradually changed.
Nam Goong Ho reflects on the distance growing between them, saying, “When did it start? When did Lee Mi Do begin to slowly fade?”
The teaser then shows memories from the happier and more passionate period of their relationship before returning to the colder reality they now face.
Lee Mi Do also wonders where their earlier feelings disappeared, saying, “Where did we lose the passion and excitement we once had?”
Their growing frustration becomes clearer during an emotional exchange. Nam Goong Ho says, “We’ve been together for 10 years. How could things still be exactly the same as before?”
Lee Mi Do responds, “The way you love me makes me feel small.”
The conversation highlights the drama’s main conflict: two people who were once each other’s closest source of comfort are now struggling to understand one another after years together.
The teaser ends with the couple expressing their frustration before walking away in different directions, accompanied by the line, “We know it. Our love no longer shines.”
Rather than presenting the situation as a simple breakup story, the drama appears set to explore how familiarity, changing emotions, and unspoken disappointment can affect a long-term relationship.
The production team explained, “The second teaser captures the changing emotional temperature and conflicts that can develop as a relationship continues over time.”
They added, “We hope viewers will watch to see where the love between Nam Goong Ho and Lee Mi Do goes as they clash more painfully because their feelings were once so intense.”
A Love Other Than Yours is scheduled to premiere on September 12 at 9:20 p.m. KST on KBS 2TV. The drama will also be released internationally through Amazon Prime Video.
