BTS member V is gaining attention in Portugal after local media highlighted his recent visit to a traditional craft store in Lisbon.

Portugal’s largest daily newspaper Correio da Manha and news platform 24HORAS published articles with the headline, “V has fallen deeply in love with Portuguese tradition.” The reports noted that V shared photos on Instagram from a store he visited during BTS’s official schedule in the country.

The store, A Vida Portuguesa, is known for selling traditional crafts and products that reflect Portugal’s cultural identity. In the photos V posted, colorful “Burel” wool blankets, a symbolic Portuguese product, were displayed on shelves. An illustrated book published by APCC (Association for the Promotion of Children’s Culture) and created by artist Rachel Caiano was also seen on the counter. The artist later reshared V’s post and expressed her gratitude.

Local media pointed out that even during a short visit, V chose to explore a space that celebrates Portuguese craftsmanship and heritage, showing his interest and respect for local culture.

Following the reports, global fans showed strong interest in the store. V’s social media posts are widely known for their strong promotional impact, often bringing economic and cultural attention to the places he visits.

His influence has been seen before. A local tart bakery he visited in Portugal reportedly drew many fans after news of his visit spread. Previously, a bakery he visited during Paris Fashion Week also gained viral attention.

Last year, V shared during a live broadcast that a taxi driver gifted him Turkish chocolate. The product reportedly sold out worldwide soon after.

The company’s CEO stated, “I have worked in the Far East market for 20 years, but this has never happened before. V created a marketing story where all inventory sold out in just 13 seconds,” highlighting the singer’s powerful global influence.
