Choo Young Woo and Kim So Hyun’s Between Steps has seen its ratings fall again after showing an early rebound with its second episode.
According to Nielsen Korea, episode 3 of the ENA Monday-Tuesday drama recorded a nationwide rating of 2.1% on October 12.
The result marks a 0.3 percentage point decline from episode 2, which reached 2.4%.
Between Steps initially premiered with a relatively low 1.8% nationwide rating on October 5 before climbing to 2.4% with its second episode. The latest 2.1% result interrupts that early upward trend, although the drama remains above its premiere rating.
The third episode continued developing the relationship between Park Min Jae, played by Choo Young Woo, and Im Yoo Jin, played by Kim So Hyun, following a major romantic moment between the two. The episode also introduced another challenge to their growing relationship without resolving how it will affect them.
Between Steps follows two graduate students whose unexpected reunion gradually changes their personal and romantic lives.
After rising from 1.8% to 2.4% in its first two episodes, the drama’s drop to 2.1% in episode 3 now puts attention on whether it can regain its ratings momentum in the coming weeks.
