Actor Jung Il Woo once again showed his strong presence in weekend dramas as KBS 2TV’s Our Golden Days reached a peak viewership rating of 20 percent, earning him the title of a true “weekend drama king.”

The drama wrapped up on the 25th and maintained steady popularity throughout its long run, with Jung Il Woo standing at the center of the story. His performance received praise for its emotional balance and depth, helping the series stay strong in ratings until the very end.

Following the finale, Jung Il Woo shared his honest thoughts through his agency. He said, “I sincerely thank the viewers who loved this drama for such a long time,” and added, “Thanks to the director, writer, all the staff, and my fellow actors, I was able to finish the project safely.”

He also expressed personal feelings about the role, saying, “Living as this character every week, I learned and felt many things as an actor and as a person.”
