tvN’s Four Hands, Two Sonatas has reached a new personal best in ratings just one episode before its finale.
According to Nielsen Korea, episode 11 of Four Hands, Two Sonatas, which aired on October 3, recorded an average nationwide rating of 8.7% and peaked at 9.9%, marking the drama’s highest ratings so far.
In the Seoul metropolitan area, the episode performed even stronger with an average rating of 9.0% and a peak of 10.6%.
The drama also ranked No. 1 in its time slot across all channels, including public broadcasters, in both nationwide and metropolitan-area ratings.
Four Hands, Two Sonatas has now remained No. 1 among cable and general programming channels in its time slot for 11 consecutive episodes nationwide.
The series also took first place in the key 20 to 49 demographic across all channels in both nationwide and metropolitan-area measurements.
Episode 11 focused on the emotional conflict between Kang Bi Oh, played by Song Kang, and Choi Jung Yo, played by Lee Jun Young, as long-standing misunderstandings between the two began moving toward resolution.
The episode also highlighted their connection through music while setting up the drama’s final chapter without giving away how their relationship will ultimately end.
With Four Hands, Two Sonatas reaching a new 9.9% nationwide peak and surpassing 10% in the metropolitan area, attention is now focused on whether the drama can set another ratings record with its finale.
