Danielle shared her heartfelt emotions following her removal from the group NewJeans, marking his first public appearance since the announcement.
On January 12, Danielle opened a personal Instagram account and announced a live broadcast at 7 PM KST.
During the live, she emotionally greeted fans, saying, “Hello, Bunnies. I’m already crying,” showing just how deeply affected he was.
Regaining her composure, Danielle told fans, “There is one thing I really want to say. Many situations are still being resolved. But one thing I can say clearly: in one corner of my heart, there is always NewJeans.”
He continued, “Even if I’m in a slightly different place, I hope we can still be one with the same heart as Bunnies. No regrets. Bunnies, this is not the end. In the days ahead, whether it’s music, silence, or small moments, I want to express myself sincerely and beautifully. I will slowly convey the feelings Bunnies gave me in my own way.”
Danielle also wished her fans well, saying, “I hope your days, day by day, are filled with softness, health, and light.”
Last month, NewJeans’ agency ADOR announced that they had terminated Danielle’s exclusive contract and plan to file a lawsuit claiming penalties and damages.
ADOR explained, “We judged that it was difficult for Daniel to continue as a NewJeans member and as an ADOR artist, so we notified him of the contract termination. We also plan to hold legally accountable Danielle’s family member who caused this dispute, and former CEO Min Hee Jin, for their significant responsibility in NewJeans’ departure and delayed return.”
Danielle’s emotional live has drawn attention from fans worldwide, showing that even amid challenging circumstances, her connection with Bunnies remains strong.
