Actor Byeon Woo Seok began the New Year with a meaningful act of kindness by making a large donation to support young patients.
According to Yonsei University Severance Hospital, Byeon Woo Seok donated 100 million won on January 1, with the funds set to be used for children and youth patient treatment support. The donation was made as part of his effort to share hope at the start of the New Year.
This is not the first time the actor has shown steady support. In 2024, Byeon Woo Seok also donated 300 million won to the same hospital to help cover treatment costs for children and youth patients, showing his continued commitment to giving back.
Through this donation, Byeon Woo Seok shared that he was “happy to support children and youth patients so they can regain their health” and expressed hope that the donation would be “real help for treatment and recovery.” He also added that he plans to continue practicing sharing in the future.
Hospital officials thanked the actor for his consistent support, noting that the donation will help deliver hope to more patients and their families as the New Year begins.
