SBS’s Friday Saturday drama Taxi Driver 3 is continuing its powerful run, officially breaking the difficult 15% ratings mark and confirming its status as one of the most successful Korean dramas of the season.

According to Nielsen Korea, episode 12 of Taxi Driver 3 recorded a peak nationwide rating of 19.1%, with 15.2% in the Seoul metropolitan area. By surpassing the so called “15% wall,” the drama is now firmly on track toward the 20% range, a milestone that only top tier series achieve.

The drama’s popularity is not limited to ratings alone. Taxi Driver 3 ranked No. 1 in “Koreans’ favorite broadcast programs of December 2025,” as reported by Gallup Korea.

It also secured first place in the TV drama category of Good Data Corporation’s FUNdex buzz rankings for the fourth week of December, showing strong viewer interest both on air and online.

What makes this achievement even more notable is that Taxi Driver 3 is already in its third season. In the Korean drama industry, it is rare for a Season 3 series to maintain, let alone increase, its popularity due to higher viewer expectations. Despite this, Taxi Driver 3 continues to receive strong support, proving the lasting appeal of the franchise.

Since its debut in 2021, the Taxi Driver series has built a loyal fanbase with its clear good versus evil storytelling and fast paced style. Season 3 has maintained this momentum, drawing viewers in each week and keeping ratings steadily high.

With its consistent rise in viewership, strong rankings, and continued buzz, Taxi Driver 3 is showing no signs of slowing down as it heads toward its final episodes, solidifying its place as one of SBS’s biggest drama hits in recent years.
