K-POP icon G DRAGON has once again proven his global influence by being selected for the 2025 Hypebeast 100 (HB100), marking the ninth time he has made the prestigious list.
The HB100, released by US-based fashion and lifestyle magazine Hypebeast, highlights 100 individuals each year who have shaped contemporary culture across music, fashion, art, streetwear, and design, regardless of nationality or genre. G-DRAGON joins global creative icons such as Pharrell Williams, Travis Scott, and A$AP Rocky, showing his status as a cultural leader beyond K-POP.
Hypebeast praised G-DRAGON’s work in 2025, saying,
"He proved his ongoing influence as a global cultural icon through creative activities spanning music, art, fashion, and luxury."

The magazine also highlighted his recent album Ubermensch, which conveys a message of self-transcendence, and noted his world tour and symbolic performances at the APEC summit, showing that his influence extends beyond music into social and cultural spheres.
Limited collaborations with PEACEMINUSONE, Jacob & Co., and Gentle Monster were noted as examples of how G DRAGON blurs the lines between pop culture and luxury, establishing him as a benchmark in contemporary culture.
G-DRAGON first made the HB100 in 2013, becoming the first K-POP artist to ever make the list. Since then, he has appeared on it in 2015, 2016, 2017, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025, making him the only K-POP artist recognized repeatedly for his cultural influence. HB100 considers not just popularity but also cultural, stylistic, symbolic, and creative impact, highlighting G DRAGON’s unique position in global contemporary culture.
Most recently, G DRAGON successfully wrapped up his G-DRAGON 2025 WORLD TOUR [Ubermensch], performing 39 shows in 17 cities across 12 countries and meeting over 825,000 fans worldwide, with a spectacular Seoul encore from December 12 to 14.
