ITZY has confirmed that all members have renewed their contract with JYP Entertainment, marking another milestone as they approach their 7th debut anniversary.
On the November 19 broadcast of MBC FM4U’s “Noon’s Hope Song with Kim Shin Young”, ITZY (Yeji, Lia, Ryujin, Chaeryeong, and Yuna) appeared as guests and shared news about their new contract.
Chaeryeong explained the difference from their first contract, saying, “Seven years ago, we signed with our parents, but this time we handled it ourselves. We thought, ‘We’ve really grown a lot.’”
Yuna, who was the only member to meet J.Y. Park after the renewal, added, “We only met once because of overlapping schedules. There wasn’t anything special about the contract. He just told us to stay healthy and do well in our activities.”
Meanwhile, ITZY continues their promotions for their latest mini album “TUNNEL VISION”, which was released on November 10.
