Singer and actor Kim Jaejoong recently opened up about his unique approach to managing wealth.
On November 13, the YouTube channel Jae Friend uploaded a new video featuring Roy Kim as a guest, where the two shared a playful conversation.
During the talk, Kim Jaejoong revealed his millionaire(?) secret: “Every eight years, make your bank account balance zero.”
He explained, “Then your energy suddenly skyrockets, and you feel so refreshed that you want to run on the paths you normally walk. It clears your mind completely.”
Roy Kim responded, “That’s a good method. It’s a way to regain your original mindset.”
Kim Jaejoong clarified, “How does what you’ve saved become zero? You send it somewhere else that’s not your bank account. It’s an ‘investment.’ That’s how I make my checking account zero.”
When Roy Kim joked, “I thought you spent it all to reach zero,” Kim Jaejoong laughed and said, “But it really can disappear. I’ve gone through that kind of challenge about four times.”
He also shared a key lesson, saying, “You need a mindset that can let go and empty out.”
