BIGBANG’s G-Dragon gave fans a rare glimpse into his personal thoughts about marriage and fatherhood — and his honest answer is melting hearts.
During his guest appearance on the November 5 episode of MBC’s Sohn Suk Hee’s Questions 3, G-Dragon was asked about his plans for marriage. When the host teased, “Since you love your song Home Sweet Home so much… when are you getting married?” G-Dragon smiled and replied, “I’ll get married when it’s time,” showing his trademark humor and calm attitude.
He went on to share a more thoughtful side, saying, “Marriage is a world I haven’t experienced yet, so I really want to try it. It still feels like an unknown area to me.”
The BIGBANG leader also mentioned how his fellow member Taeyang, who is married and has a son, made him reflect on the idea of family. “When I visit Taeyang and his son calls me ‘Dad’s friend,’ it feels so strange,” he said. “But maybe one day, I’ll also become a father. I’m both excited and nervous about that.”
When the host joked that G-Dragon didn’t seem to have anyone “coming” to marry him yet, the singer laughed and said, “That’s exactly right. I don’t know who that person will be yet. But I’m definitely the one who wants to go. Maybe if people know that, someone will come.”
