Hong Jin Kyung shared that her plan to attend BLACKPINK Jennie’s Chanel show in Paris didn’t go as planned, despite her best efforts to make it happen.
In her latest YouTube video on Study King Jin Genius Hong Jin Kyung, the entertainer opened up about the situation while chatting with fans.
One viewer mentioned Jennie’s upcoming Chanel appearance, reminding Hong Jin Kyung of their previous conversation.
Hong Jin Kyung recalled, “That reminds me, Jennie and I were supposed to go to Paris together in October.”
She then explained that the plan was inspired by a fun moment from Jennie’s past guest appearance on her channel, when she joked, “When you go to Paris, I’ll carry your bag — with my own money.” The two had even agreed to attend the fashion show together.
However, things didn’t turn out as expected. “To be honest, Jennie’s agency contacted me and said it would be difficult for her to bring me along due to personal reasons,”
Hong Jin Kyung said. “I even pleaded, saying, ‘But we made a promise on the show, can’t I still go?’ but it seemed like it was a tough situation.”
Fans showed their understanding, saying it was clear Jennie must be very busy, while others praised Hong Jin Kyung for keeping her sense of humor about the situation.
