G-Dragon is taking firm legal action against those spreading false information and writing malicious comments about him.

On October 17, his agency Galaxy Corporation announced, “We are actively taking legal action against malicious posts directed at G-Dragon.”

According to the agency, they gathered evidence and fan reports over several months, completing a full investigation by the end of September.

Based on their findings, multiple individuals were officially reported to law enforcement on October 15 for defamation under the Information and Communications Network Act.

The agency emphasized that they are targeting serious offenses such as defamation through false information, not just simple insults.

They also shared plans to file additional complaints across major online platforms, including DC Inside, Daum Cafe, X (formerly Twitter), Nate Pann, FM Korea, and Naver.

Galaxy Corporation added, “While we cannot share full details due to investigation protocols, we will continue to provide regular updates through our official community. We will do everything we can to ensure G-Dragon can work in a safe and healthy environment.”

This move follows the false drug use allegations G-Dragon faced in 2023, where he was fully cleared of all charges.

At the time, the singer suffered emotional distress from false rumors and speculative media reports, which his agency is now determined to prevent from happening again.
