Actor Lee Dong Wook’s agency has strongly warned against excessive invasion of privacy following multiple disturbing incidents.
On October 14, King Kong by Starship released an official statement, saying: “There have been ongoing cases where people visit the artist’s unofficial schedules and residence, enter private spaces without permission, attempt contact, and leave letters with inappropriate content, all of which violate the artist’s privacy.”
The agency added, “Any act of invading privacy — including visiting the artist’s residence, entering private spaces, tracking unofficial schedules, or leaking personal information — will face strict legal action.”
They also emphasized, “Obtaining flight information through improper means or using the same flight as the artist to approach them on board, including during overseas schedules or personal trips, is considered an invasion of privacy and will face legal consequences.”
King Kong by Starship concluded by reminding fans that “these actions are clearly illegal, and we ask everyone to respect the artist’s safety and rights.”
