IVE’s Jang Wonyoung continues to prove why she’s one of the top visuals of her generation with her stunning new photoshoot for the November issue of Elle Korea.
In the pictorial, Wonyoung captivated fans with her flawless beauty and elegant charm as she posed in Bulgari’s iconic jewelry, glowing from every angle.
During the interview, Wonyoung opened up about what “light” means to her and the moments that make her shine.
She shared, “I feel light in many different moments — from my fans’ love, on stage, in the friendship of my members, and the affection of my family. But among them, the moment that best matches the word ‘light’ is when I’m on stage.”
She added, “I’m surrounded by so many lights there, but many of those lights also brighten my heart. When I think of the light that fans send me as the one that shines on me, I feel my emotions come alive.”
When asked when she feels she shines the most, she honestly said, “I think I shine the most when I speak confidently and honestly about myself. When I’m being myself, and when I have confidence in who I am, that’s when I shine the brightest — and I feel like I can do anything.”
After finishing promotions for IVE’s 4th mini album, Wonyoung is now preparing for the group’s second world tour, SHOW WHAT I AM.
She expressed excitement for the upcoming journey, saying, “I’m really looking forward to seeing what kind of worlds I haven’t yet discovered while traveling around the globe, and to everything I’ll learn along the way. The more I experience, the more I feel like I’ll grow once again.”
Known for her positivity, Wonyoung also shared how she stays strong during tough times: “I believe in the power of words. Whenever I faced challenges, I always told myself, ‘You can do it,’ so that I wouldn’t fall apart. And when I look back, those moments always passed — and a stronger version of me remained.”
