On October 9, Jung Il Woo’s agency J1 International Company briefly responded to the reports, saying, “It’s difficult to confirm since it concerns the actor’s private life. We ask for your understanding.”
The rumors began when Jung Il Woo uploaded a photo on social media showing himself enjoying a café outing with a woman.
What caught fans’ attention was that both appeared to have matching phone cases with the phrase “Good day” printed on them — sparking talk of a possible relationship.
Although the actor later deleted the photo, screenshots had already spread widely across online communities and social media platforms.
Adding fuel to the speculation, netizens pointed out that the woman is reportedly the CEO of a brand for which Jung Il Woo currently serves as a model, leading many to wonder if the two share more than just a professional connection.
