G-Dragon and Son Heung Min are proving that their bond goes beyond fame and success.
A new video released on Hana TV (Hana Bank) showed the two global stars sharing a warm and lighthearted conversation with MC Kang Ho Dong.
The clip quickly caught fans’ attention for the natural chemistry between the BigBang leader and the Tottenham Hotspur captain.
When asked if they already knew each other, Kang Ho Dong mentioned hearing about their “world-class friendship” and how they’ve exchanged gifts.
G-Dragon smiled and said, “I gave him a limited-edition perfume. I always give one to Heung Min’s friend too.” Son Heung Min added, “We often exchange small gifts,” showing how close they’ve become.
At one point, G-Dragon asked Son Heung Min if he had always liked soccer. The football star laughed and replied, “Rather than just liking soccer, I like Son Heung Min.”
When Kang Ho Dong jokingly asked about wrestling, G-Dragon playfully responded, “I like strong champions,” drawing laughter on set.
Son Heung Min also expressed his admiration for G-Dragon, saying, “Is there anyone who doesn’t like BigBang? I’ve told him many times that I’m a fan.”
The friendship between the two had already become a hot topic before. G-Dragon once gifted Son Heung Min a limited-edition perfume he personally designed, featuring his signature daisy logo and Son Heung Min’s jersey number 7. Son Heung Min later posted a photo showing his gratitude, touching fans’ hearts.
In a past interview with TNT Sports, Son Heung Min revealed that the first album he ever bought was by BigBang, calling G-Dragon “my friend and also a great artist whom I truly admire.”
Fans continue to praise their wholesome friendship, saying it’s rare to see such genuine support between two world-famous Korean icons.
