Actor Cha Tae Hyun shared what it was like attending the top-secret wedding of his close friend, singer Kim Jong Kook.
In the latest episode of YouTube’s DdeunDdeun, hosts Yoo Jae Suk, Cha Tae Hyun, Yoo Yeon Seok, and Nam Chang Hee talked about the highly private ceremony.
Cha Tae Hyun revealed that the wedding had extremely strict security. “I usually don’t take photos at weddings, but the flowers were so beautiful,” he said.
“I didn’t know we weren’t supposed to take pictures. When the bride and groom walked down the aisle, I was about to take one, but no one else did — that’s when I realized, ‘Oh, I guess we’re not allowed.’”
He added with a laugh, “I could tell he spent a lot of money,” and even showed a picture of the luxurious floral decorations that left Yoo Yeon Seok in awe.
Yoo Jae Suk also shared that guests were asked not to use their phones during the ceremony, saying, “It was nice because everyone focused on the wedding itself.”
Kim Jong Kook quietly tied the knot on September 5 in Seoul, inviting only close family and friends to the intimate event.
