IU gave fans a good laugh during her latest live broadcast when she couldn’t find her own name in a popular snack.
On September 21, the singer and actress went live on the global fan platform Berries. During the stream, one fan asked, “Do you know that Kancho snacks have names written on them?”
IU quickly responded, “I thought this might come up, so I prepared. Let’s test whether my real name, Ji Eun, will show up or not.”
Excited, she started checking the names on the snacks one by one, but her expression soon turned disappointed.
“Since my name is common, I thought it would show up right away, but surprisingly it didn’t. I thought it would appear in the first pack, but there are just so many names in the world,” she said with a sigh.
Not ready to give up, IU opened a second pack, only to look even more frustrated as she read out the names she found: “Sung Min, Young Seo, Yoon Ah, Ah Yoon, So Yeon, Ha Yeon, Ho Yeon.” She then made fans laugh when she pouted and said, “Only Ji Eun is missing.”
Fans who tuned in couldn’t stop leaving comments about how adorable IU’s reaction was, turning the small snack game into a memorable and funny moment.
