Actor Lee Jun Young confessed that a scene in When Life Gives You Tangerines unexpectedly made him the target of scolding from viewers across the country.
On the September 21 broadcast of SBS’s My Little Old Boy, the rising actor talked about his role as Young Beom, IU’s first love in the hit drama.
The “Mom Avengers” praised him warmly, saying, “I enjoyed the drama,” and “I watched it three times.”
Lee Jun Young then revealed the story behind one particular scene. He explained, “In the scene where my girlfriend was scooping scorched rice soup during a family meeting, I just sat still without helping. After that, I was scolded by viewers nationwide.”
The confession surprised everyone in the studio, and Lee Jun Young even added that his own father gave him an unexpected comment after watching that moment, making fans even more curious about what he said.
