Son Ye Jin recently opened up about her marriage with Hyun Bin, sharing a lighthearted story that had fans smiling.

On September 18, the actress attended the Actor’s House event at the Busan International Film Festival, held at Sohyang Theater Shinhan Card Hall in Haeundae, Busan.

She was there to promote her latest project, director Park Chan Wook’s new film It Can’t Be Helped, which was also selected as the festival’s opening film.

During the talk, Son Ye Jin was asked if her husband Hyun Bin gave her any acting advice, especially for such a high-profile film.

To this, she honestly answered, “It may be unexpected, but we don’t really talk about work. We don’t even ask each other where we’ve been. Even without asking things like ‘Was filming hard today?,’ we can tell by each other’s expressions.”

She went on to share a rare exception: “The only time I showed him a script was for 'No Other Choice'. Normally, we don’t share scripts, but when the original title was Axe, I gave it to him and said, ‘Try reading this once.’”

Son Ye Jin then revealed why work talk doesn’t last long in their household. She said with a laugh, “My husband doesn’t really talk about work, and sometimes I ask him to practice lines with me."

She added , "But he reads the script in such a strange way that I always scold him and say, ‘Do it properly!’ That’s why we don’t talk much about work. I don’t know why it’s like that.”

Her playful honesty about her marriage dynamic quickly drew attention, with many fans praising the couple’s natural and down-to-earth relationship.
