BOYNEXTDOOR will light up the stage at one of the biggest sports events in the world.

On September 12, KOZ Entertainment shared that the group (Sung Ho, Liu, Myung Jae Hyun, Tae San, Lee Han, Woon Hak) will perform as the finale stage at the opening ceremony of the 2025 World Men’s Volleyball Championship. The event kicks off at 4:30 PM (local time) at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Manila, Philippines.

The World Men’s Volleyball Championship, first held in 1949, is a prestigious global tournament. Back in April, BOYNEXTDOOR made history as the first Korean singers to be appointed global ambassadors for an international volleyball competition by the FIVB (International Volleyball Federation). At the time, FIVB First Vice President Ramon Suzara praised them, saying, “Their unique charm, energy, and influence make them perfectly suited as global ambassadors for this competition.”

The group has already shown their global presence through powerful performances. Just last month, they rocked the stage at Lollapalooza Chicago, captivating U.S. fans with live vocals and fiery energy. Their first solo tour BOYNEXTDOOR TOUR 'KNOCK ON Vol.1' also wrapped up in July to rave reviews, proving their strong stage power.

Now, all eyes are on their highly anticipated finale stage at the championship opening ceremony.

Meanwhile, BOYNEXTDOOR is gearing up for their comeback in October with a brand-new album.
