Former ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin has officially appeared in court regarding her massive legal battle with HYBE.
On September 11, the Seoul Central District Court’s Civil Agreement Division 31 held a hearing on Min’s lawsuit over the termination of a shareholder agreement and her 26 billion won put option claim against HYBE.
It was reported that Min had personally requested to be questioned as a party in court. On the day of the hearing, she arrived in a large taxi, dressed casually in jeans and a checkered jacket.
She smiled and appeared calm but did not answer any questions from reporters before heading inside.
This lawsuit stems from Min’s resignation from HYBE last November, after which she filed for payment related to her put option. If the court rules in her favor, HYBE may have to pay her around 26 billion won.
HYBE’s stance is that the shareholder agreement was already terminated in July last year, making her put option invalid.
However, Min insists that the contract was still valid when she exercised her option, giving her the right to claim the payout.
The court’s decision on this case will mark a crucial turning point in Min Hee Jin and HYBE’s ongoing dispute.
