Lovelyz member Mijoo has once again made fans laugh with her honest and bold thoughts about love.
On the September 4 episode of SBS PowerFM’s Cultwo Show, with Kwak Beom as the special DJ, Mijoo appeared as a guest alongside Kim Soo Chan for the “Love Go-Stop” segment.
During the show, a university student shared her story of being confused by a male classmate. He once gave her a homemade cake, making her think he might confess, but instead he explained, “My mom told me to use up the cake ingredients quickly, so I just made it. It’s not spoiled, right?” Later, he messaged her while buying instant noodles, saying he suddenly thought of her.
Kim Tae Gyun commented, “That sounds like he’s just managing his image or keeping options open.” Mijoo agreed, saying, “If he really liked her, he would’ve confessed already. He’s acting in a way that makes her feel confused on purpose.”
Mijoo’s final advice was “STOP.” She explained, “If it were me, I’d confess first. I’d probably say, ‘If you’re going to act like this, then let’s just date.’ But in this case, it feels off. It doesn’t feel good.”
Another story came from a woman who had been dating her boyfriend, 8 years younger, for 8 years. At first, he was sweet and made her think of marriage, but after working together, he became so negative that she was glad they didn’t marry. She revealed that he once sulked for three days without saying a word.
Mijoo reacted strongly, saying, “That kind of guy is really not good.” Kim Tae Gyun then teased, “But what if he’s really handsome?” Curious, Mijoo asked, “How handsome?”
She laughed and added, “If he’s just staring at me with a handsome face, wouldn’t that feel like him saying, ‘Please forgive me’? Then you just forgive him. What can you do? I’d probably apologize first.”
Kwak Beom chimed in, “They say if someone is good-looking, you forgive them faster.” Mijoo agreed while laughing, “Exactly! If his lips stick out when he pouts, that would look so cute.”
