AB6IX’s Lee Dae Hwi showed his “small eater” habits and sparked playful debate with a past story involving his close friend Jeon Somi.
On the August 27 broadcast of MBC FM4U’s Noon Song of Hope with Kim Shin Young, AB6IX members Lee Dae Hwi and Jeon Woong appeared as guests to promote their 10th EP Upside Down.
During the show, a listener brought up an old video of Dae Hwi and Somi, recalling, “I keep rewatching the video where Dae Hwi asked Jeon Somi, ‘Do you eat a lot?’ when she was on a diet.”
Host Kim Shin Young also remembered the moment, saying, “Dae Hwi and Somi were eating ramen, and he only cooked one pack. So Mi asked, ‘Why just one?’ and Dae Hwi replied, ‘Do you eat a lot?’”
Dae Hwi laughed as he explained, “Somi is so slim and pretty. At that time, it was right after a comeback, so I thought it would be better for health management to just cook one. But she kept saying we should make two. Honestly, if you split one pack, half is enough to feel full.”
Hearing this, Kim Shin Young and Jeon Woong burst into laughter and jokingly scolded him with comments like, “What are you talking about?”, “That’s illegal!” and “That’s just rude!”
The story once again showed off Lee Dae Hwi’s quirky and funny personality, while also reminding fans of his close friendship with Jeon Somi.
