The industry is buzzing over which actor will be the next to sign with Galaxy Corporation, the agency that already has G-Dragon and recently welcomed veteran actor Song Kang Ho.

According to insiders on August 21, Galaxy has been holding exclusive contract talks with several stars, including Kim Nam Gil, Ji Chang Wook, Seolhyun, and Na In Woo. Some are still reviewing terms, but others are reportedly close to making the move, with only an official announcement left.

One insider shared, “After the news of Song Kang Ho’s exclusive contract, negotiations with other actors sped up. News about the second and even third actors joining will be revealed soon.”

When asked if this was all connected to preparing for a stock market listing, they explained, “Of course sales are important, but more than that, the focus is on building a stable production system.”

So far, Galaxy has been best known for producing hit variety shows like We Must Unite and Kick 2, Mister Trot 2, Steel Troops W, and Physical:100. But the company now plans to expand into dramas, movies, and short-form content by recruiting top actors.

Another source added, “Preparations for a stock market listing have already been completed with existing IPs, G-Dragon’s concerts, and merchandise sales. The next step is to secure a solid foundation so the company isn’t shaken no matter what happens with G-Dragon’s future contract.”

When asked about rumors that Jun Ji Hyun—who recently left Ieum Hashtag and started her own agency Pitch Company—might also join Galaxy, the source said, “It’s difficult to confirm.”

The source also revealed that Song Kang Ho reportedly received more than 500 million KRW (about 365,000 USD) as a signing bonus for his exclusive contract, raising even more curiosity about which stars will follow.
