Actor Im Joo Hwan, the very first celebrity signed under the management company co-founded by Cha Tae Hyun and Jo In Sung, brought plenty of laughs as he teased “CEO Cha” on tvN’s Handsome Guys.
On the August 21 episode (Ep. 37), Cha Tae Hyun, Kim Dong Hyun, Lee Yi Kyung, and Oh Sang Wook were joined by guest actors Im Joo Hwan and Shin Seung Hwan. The group went on a food tour in Gongdeok, Mapo-gu, where they recommended both lunch and dinner menus.
Before the guests arrived, Cha Tae Hyun introduced them with his usual humor, saying, “One guy eats really well, and the other looks decent. But from what I’ve seen, they don’t know that much about quizzes.”
Im Joo Hwan, however, quickly turned the tables. When asked if he was ready for the show’s trademark “meal payment quiz,” he joked, “I came here with peace of mind. Isn’t the company CEO here? According to my contract, all expenses are supposed to be covered by the company.” Everyone then looked straight at Cha Tae Hyun, who laughed nervously and admitted, “I guess I didn’t read the contract carefully,” sending the set into laughter.
The fun didn’t stop there. When it was time to pay the actual bill, Im Joo Hwan boldly reached for Cha Tae Hyun’s card instead of his own, creating another round of laughs.
Fans are already excited to see more of Im Joo Hwan hilariously “controlling” CEO Cha and the chemistry between the cast and guests in the full broadcast of Handsome Guys, which airs at 8:40 p.m.
