Kim Kwang Gyu has revealed a touching story about Girls’ Generation’s YoonA and her thoughtful gestures behind the scenes.

On the August 16 broadcast of tvN’s weekend drama Bon Appetit, Your Majesty, YoonA appeared alongside Lee Chae Min, Kang Han Na, and Kim Kwang Gyu.

YoonA shared about her chemistry with co-star Lee Chae Min, saying, “Since we had many scenes together, we quickly became close.”

Kim Kwang Gyu added, “They became so close that they even celebrated birthdays. I didn’t even know it was her birthday, but Lee Chae Min remembered and celebrated it for her.”

Lee Chae Min explained, “While filming with noona, we once talked about perfume. When her birthday came up, that perfume came to mind, so I gave it to her as a gift.”

Kang Han Na praised him, saying, “That’s really thoughtful.”

Kim Kwang Gyu then shared how generous YoonA was to everyone on set, saying, “I didn’t even get her a birthday present, but YoonA gave gifts to the actors. She even wrote handwritten letters to all the staff, without missing anyone. She gave massage machines too.”

YoonA explained her thoughtful actions, saying, “Every time I work on a project, I think about giving gifts that show my heart. Since on this set we had to stand a lot, I thought people’s legs might hurt, so I gave those gifts.”

Both Lee Chae Min and Kang Han Na expressed their gratitude, saying they’ve been using her gifts well.
