Get ready for a sizzling chef showdown in Paris—Grand Maison Paris, starring Japan’s legendary Kimura Takuya and Korea’s very own Ok Taecyeon, is finally heading to Korean theaters this August, exclusively through Lotte Cinema!

This much-awaited movie is a continuation of the hit drama Grand Maison Tokyo, and it brings the intense passion of fine dining to the heart of France. The story follows Chef Obana, a genius who’s stuck at two Michelin stars and is now chasing the dream of reaching the ultimate prize—three Michelin stars—with his loyal team by his side.

The film isn’t just about food—it’s a mix of beautiful Paris scenery, real restaurant culture, and emotional drama that will touch your heart and make your mouth water. Helping bring it all to life is Chef Kei Kobayashi, the first Asian to receive three Michelin stars in France. He took part in the food direction, adding a layer of realism and artistic beauty to every dish shown on screen.

When Grand Maison Paris was released in Japan, it quickly became a box office hit, drawing 960,000 viewers in its first week. It received love from both longtime fans of the original drama and new viewers alike.

The movie is directed by Tsukahara Ayuko, known for works like Unnatural and Let’s Go, Jets!, and the screenplay is written by Liar Game and Kingdom writer Kuroiwa Tsutomu.

Kimura Takuya returns as Obana Natsuki, a bold and passionate chef striving for the highest honor in the culinary world. Suzuki Kyoka, Sawamura Ikki, and Oikawa Mitsuhiro also reprise their roles, bringing deeper connections and drama to the story.

Adding new flavor to the cast is 2PM’s Ok Taecyeon, who plays Rick Yuan, a Korean pastry chef who ends up in debt while chasing dessert perfection. His unique character adds both charm and energy to the already star-studded film.

The newly revealed launch poster shows three golden stars—the mark of Michelin greatness—on a bold red backdrop, with gold powder falling from a chef’s hand. The tagline reads, “Creating the perfect course in the home of Michelin,” teasing the fierce culinary journey ahead.

Fans of food, drama, and powerful acting won’t want to miss Grand Maison Paris when it premieres in Korea this August, only in Lotte Cinema.
