ILLIT’s Minju recently opened up about her financial goals, and her honest answer is both funny and relatable!
On July 16, a new video was uploaded to comedian Lee Yong Jin’s YouTube channel, where ILLIT members Minju and Moka appeared as guests.
During the fun and candid talk, Lee Yong Jin asked the two rising stars, “What do you want to do once you start getting paid?”
Minju didn’t hesitate to share her big dream. “To be honest,” she said, “I want to save a lot and buy a building.” Her bold and practical answer made everyone laugh, including the host.

Lee Yong Jin praised her, saying, “That’s the right answer,” and pulled out a tarot card to take a fun peek into her future. After looking at the card, he told Minju, “It looks like you’ll be able to buy a building.”

Next, it was Moka’s turn to pick a card. She asked, “What should I be careful about?” Lee Yong Jin gave her a surprising answer: “The more people you meet, the more harm it might bring. It might sound harsh, but you should just stay in your dorm.”

Moka responded with a bitter smile, “That’s fine, I don’t have any friends anyway.” Lee Yong Jin then added, “You might be working non-stop for now. You’re the type who needs to be careful with people.”

Later in the video, the girls were asked what they think ILLIT will be like five years from now. Lee Yong Jin joked, “Is your contract for seven years?”
When they replied, “Yes, it’s been two years so far,” he teased, “So you want to know what it’ll be like when your contract ends?” Minju quickly laughed it off, saying, “No, that’s not it!”
To end the talk on a hopeful note, Lee Yong Jin encouraged the girls, saying, “Five years later, you might feel like you’ve done everything you dreamed of. It could be a time when you feel more relaxed.”
Fans loved seeing this honest and funny side of Minju and Moka, with many cheering for Minju to achieve her dream of becoming a building owner someday!
