G-Dragon has officially canceled his upcoming solo concert in Bangkok, leaving fans in Thailand stunned and disappointed.

On July 11, G-Dragon’s team released an official statement through his fan page and online platforms, announcing that the Bangkok stop of his ‘G-DRAGON 2025 WORLD TOUR [Ubermensch]’, originally scheduled for August 2 at Rajamangala National Stadium, has been called off.

The statement read:

“Due to unexpected circumstances, we deeply regret to inform you that the ‘G-DRAGON 2025 WORLD TOUR [Ubermensch] IN BANGKOK’ scheduled for August 2 has been canceled.
We understand how much everyone was looking forward to this concert, and we sincerely apologize for the disappointment and inconvenience.”

They added:

“We are truly grateful for your continued patience and support.
To our fans in Thailand, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts and hope to see you again soon.”

Fortunately, ticket sales had not yet started, so no refund process will be needed.

This world tour marks G-Dragon’s first solo concerts in 8 years, and he’s been drawing global attention not only for his return but also for incorporating AI technology and philosophical themes into the show. The tour explores the concept of “Ubermensch”—inspired by German philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche—through creative stage design, visuals, and intense live band performances.

G-Dragon has already kicked off the tour with shows in Tokyo, Bulacan, Osaka, Macau, and Australia, and he is currently holding a three-day concert in Taipei from July 11 to 13.

Despite the cancellation in Bangkok, the ‘G-DRAGON 2025 WORLD TOUR [Ubermensch]’ will continue in other cities including Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, Hong Kong, and U.S. stops like Newark, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles, before heading to Paris, France.

Thai fans are hopeful that G-Dragon will return to their country soon—with many continuing to show support online and asking for a rescheduled date.
