YG Entertainment has officially apologized after fans raised complaints about not being able to see the stage during BLACKPINK’s concert.

On July 7, YG released a statement about the issue that happened at the BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR IN GOYANG held on July 5 and 6 at the Goyang Sports Complex Main Stadium.

Some fans who sat in the N3 section couldn’t see the stage properly because a big console and LED screen were placed in front of them.

YG said, “We deeply apologize for the inconvenience caused to those who had trouble watching the concert from the N3 seats due to a restricted view of the stage.”

They explained, “A console was installed in front of that section, which blocked the view. We tried to improve things by installing an extended LED screen, but it ended up causing discomfort. That was not our intention.”

YG also promised to take action for affected fans. “We will take follow-up actions for those who reported inconvenience in that area. Details will be shared through the ticketing site,” they said.

Lastly, they added, “We will work harder to carefully consider the viewing experience and do our best to provide a better concert experience in the future.”

Although BLACKPINK’s powerful performances got lots of love from fans and celebrities alike, the issue with the N3 section quickly became a hot topic online.

Many fans criticized YG for not clearly marking those seats as “restricted view” when the tickets were first sold.

Fans are now waiting to see how YG will handle refunds or compensation.
