Fans were left screaming in excitement as G-Dragon made a surprise appearance at PSY’s ‘Soaking Show’, proving that even after a long break, the King of K-pop still knows how to steal the spotlight.

On June 28 at 6 PM KST, PSY kicked off his 2025 ‘Soaking Show SUMMERSWAG’ concert series at the Incheon Asiad Main Stadium. Just when the crowd thought things couldn’t get better, G-Dragon casually walked on stage—wearing a cap, glasses, long-sleeved shirt, and jeans—sending shockwaves through the audience.

The BIGBANG member performed his solo tracks “Power” and “Home Sweet Home”, instantly heating up the crowd. As he roamed the stage, he introduced himself with his signature humor, saying,

“I’m Kwon Ji Yong, I’m also G-Dragon… yep, that guy,” making the audience laugh.

He then got real with fans, sharing,

“It’s been a while… actually, 88 months. I’ve been preparing for my world tour, but I had to come for my big bro’s party.”

G-Dragon revealed that PSY didn’t even ask for much—just casually invited him with,

“‘Hey, what are you doing this summer?’”
To that, G-Dragon added,
“When a superstar among superstars calls you, you just come. I didn’t even think twice.”

He also mentioned it was strange that it didn’t rain, saying,

“But there’s still water everywhere.”
He then surprised fans again by revealing,
“This is actually my second time at the ‘Soaking Show.’ I came 12 years ago.”
As he looked out at the crowd, he smiled and said,
“I didn’t expect so many people today. I sincerely greet you all—I’m G-Dragon.”

Before wrapping up, he reminded fans that he usually performs 30 songs but kept it short for PSY, joking,

“This is my hyung’s party. He has way more hits than me,” and ended his set with a high-energy performance of “Crayon.”

The ‘Soaking Show’ has been PSY’s legendary summer concert series since 2011, known for its wild energy, water-soaked crowds, and unexpected guest appearances. This year, PSY is scheduled to hold 16 shows in 9 cities, including Daejeon, Daegu, Suwon, Busan, and more.

With G-Dragon’s unexpected stage comeback, fans are now buzzing with hope for his upcoming solo activities—and maybe even more surprise guest appearances!
