SEVENTEEN is on fire with their latest hit “THUNDER”!

On June 19, the group snagged 1st place on Mnet’s M Countdown with their title track “THUNDER” from their 5th full album “HAPPY BURSTDAY.” What’s more impressive? They didn’t even appear on the show — and still won! This marks their 8th music show trophy for this comeback alone.

After the win, the members shared a sweet message with fans on social media:

“This shining 1st place is a gift from CARATs (our fandom). Let’s stay happy together forever.”

Since its release on May 26, “THUNDER” has proven to be a major hit. It’s stayed at the top of major Korean music charts, including Melon’s TOP 100 and Bugs’ real-time and daily charts. It also debuted at #1 on Circle Chart’s weekly digital ranking, and has stayed near the top for three weeks straight.

But SEVENTEEN’s popularity isn’t just local. Internationally, “THUNDER” has charted for 3 weeks in a row on Billboard’s Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. — proving their strong global presence.

Their album “HAPPY BURSTDAY” is also setting records. It had the highest first-week sales of any K-pop album this year, and landed at #2 on the Billboard 200, matching SEVENTEEN’s personal best on the chart.

The group continues to treat fans with more fun content. The final full episode of their reality show “Nana Guesthouse with SEVENTEEN” drops today (June 20) on Weverse. Also, Hoshi and Min Gyu will appear on SBS’s ‘If There’s a Chance’ on June 24. Then, on June 25, the beloved variety series “GOING SEVENTEEN” returns — often called the “Infinite Challenge” of K-pop for its wild, funny vibes.

SEVENTEEN keeps winning on stage, on charts, and in fans’ hearts — no wonder it feels like a real “HAPPY BURSTDAY”!
