More than five years since its release, BTS’s Jimin is proving once again that true hits never die.

His solo song “Filter”, which was part of BTS’s 2020 album ‘Map of the Soul: 7’, is still getting massive love both in Korea and around the world. As of June 19, the track reached 136 million streams on Melon, making it the most-streamed BTS solo song on the platform to date.

On Spotify, “Filter” recently surpassed 480 million streams (as of June 6), ranking as the third most-streamed track from the album — behind only “ON” and “Black Swan”. Among all the solo songs from ‘Map of the Soul: 7’, “Filter” holds the top spot in streaming numbers.

And the song’s success doesn’t stop there. On YouTube, even without an official music video, the audio version has gained over 126 million views. Meanwhile, on Shazam, a popular global music search app, the track has been identified over 610,000 times, showing its continued reach with listeners worldwide.

“Filter” also made a legendary move on July 14, 2024, when it hit #1 on the UK iTunes Top Songs Chart, becoming the first BTS solo track to top the chart. This helped BTS achieve an incredible all-kill on iTunes Top Songs Charts in 119 countries and regions, making them the first group in history to accomplish such a record.

Even after five years, Jimin’s “Filter” is still winning hearts and breaking records — proof that true artistry never goes out of style.
