HyunA is looking back on 4Minute’s legacy with love — and fans are feeling all the emotions!
On June 18, HyunA took to Instagram to share heartfelt photos celebrating the 16th anniversary of 4Minute’s debut. Along with pictures of herself holding a bouquet of flowers, she captioned the post,
“We were really beautiful. So precious.”
The flowers were a sweet gift from former 4Minute leader Nam Ji Hyun, who also showed her love in the comments, writing,
“You were really beautiful. So precious.”
Nam Ji Hyun, who has always been known as the caring leader of the group, went out of her way to prepare flowers and a cake for her fellow members. She also posted on her own Instagram, saying,
“It’s been 16 years, and so much has happened. I wonder what we’ll be like 16 years from now,”
along with nostalgic photos from their early days as a group.
Former members Jeon Ji Yoon and Kwon So Hyun also shared photos of the gifts they received from Ji Hyun. Kwon So Hyun touched fans by writing,
“Even though she’s busy, our leader Ji Hyun unnie took time to prepare flowers and cake in advance, meeting each member to celebrate this special day. I truly respect her thoughtfulness and kindness. Because of her, our 16th anniversary as five members became even more meaningful. Thank you.”
4Minute debuted on June 18, 2009, and became one of the most iconic girl groups of the second-generation K-pop era. They promoted together for seven years before officially disbanding in 2016. Despite going their separate ways, the members continue to support each other and share a close bond that fans still admire today.
HyunA originally debuted as a member of Wonder Girls in 2007 but left the group early on. She then re-debuted with 4Minute and has since built a powerful solo career. In October 2023, she married Yong Jun Hyung, former member of BEAST (now Highlight).
The 4Minute reunion might have been low-key, but the love between the members is still strong — and fans can’t help but hope for more sweet moments like this in the future.
