Rumors recently spread online claiming that former LE SSERAFIM member Kim Garam might be preparing for a comeback by signing with a new entertainment agency — but the agency has now spoken up.
On June 11, Modenberry Korea officially responded to the reports, saying, “The rumors about signing Kim Garam are not true,” during a call with Newsen.
Earlier that day, several media outlets claimed that Kim Garam was in talks for an exclusive contract with Modenberry Korea, raising questions about whether the former idol was planning a return to the entertainment industry.
Kim Garam debuted with LE SSERAFIM in 2022 under Source Music, a HYBE label, but left the group just two months later following controversy over her alleged involvement in school bullying. At the time, her contract with Source Music was terminated.
Since then, she has been focusing on her studies. She graduated from the Department of Theater and Film at Seoul Performing Arts High School and is currently majoring in Media Acting at Konkuk University’s College of Art and Design.
As of now, there are no confirmed plans for Kim Garam to return to the spotlight.
