Jun Ji Hyun is once again proving why she’s one of Korea’s top visual queens, even in old college photos.
Recently, a post titled “Jun Ji Hyun in her 20s that makes regular people lose confidence” began trending on online communities. The post featured rare photos of the actress from her college years, and fans were shocked by how little she’s changed over time.
One photo shows Jun Ji Hyun smiling brightly in class, flashing a peace sign. Another photo captures her talking to a professor, likely taken without her knowing. Even with a simple ponytail and plain short-sleeve T-shirt, Jun Ji Hyun's natural beauty and star aura stood out.

Fans couldn’t believe how youthful and flawless she looked, even in casual settings without makeup or lighting. Her sharp features, glowing skin, and elegant vibe made many question if the photos were really that old.
The photos quickly spread online, with fans and netizens leaving comments like:
“She’s seriously so pretty,”
“She looks exactly the same as now,”
“Even her bare face is perfect,”
“Her husband must feel lucky every day,” and
“She just shines even from far away.”

Jun Ji Hyun married Choi Jun Hyuk in 2012. He’s a financial professional and her childhood classmate. The couple has two sons. Earlier this year, the family was spotted at a football match in Germany, and it was the first time their sons’ faces were shown publicly.
Choi Jun Hyuk comes from a wealthy and well-known family. He’s the grandson of famous hanbok designer Lee Young Hee and is said to own properties worth over ₩80 billion KRW (around $58 million USD). He used to work at an American bank and now runs his father's asset management company, which reportedly manages ₩586.1 billion KRW (about $426 million USD) as of 2020.

Her brother-in-law, Choi Jun Ho, was once a K-pop idol in the group X-Large. After leaving entertainment, he studied in the U.S. and is now a top executive at a major stock exchange in Southeast Asia.
Meanwhile, Jun Ji Hyun is set to return to the small screen in the second half of 2025. She’ll star in the Disney+ drama Polaris, playing Moon Ju, a former UN ambassador and diplomat. The story follows her as she joins forces with a mysterious agent, played by Kang Dong Won, to uncover a massive hidden conspiracy.
Fans are already counting down the days to see her back in action.
