G-Dragon’s Osaka concert turns emotional after surprise guests arrive — the reason will touch your heart

BIGBANG’s G-Dragon is gaining praise for his meaningful gesture during his world tour — by inviting Japanese Paralympic athletes to his concert in Osaka!

On May 25, G-Dragon performed at Kyocera Dome in Osaka, Japan, as part of his WeVerse Mensch world tour. But this concert had a special twist — it wasn’t just about music. It was also about sharing kindness and encouragement.

The invitation was inspired by a heartfelt letter from Japanese Paralympian Kubota Kota, who shared how G-Dragon’s music gave him strength and motivation during the Paralympics.

Touched by these words, G-Dragon made sure to invite Kubota and other athletes to his show through his very own organization, the Just Peace Foundation.

The Just Peace Foundation, which G-Dragon founded and leads, is all about spreading hope, peace, and courage through music. The foundation officially launched on August 8, 2024, and since then, has been working to connect music with meaningful causes.

Starting with concerts in South Korea on March 28 and 30, G-Dragon’s tour has been promoting more than just performances — it’s about using music as a tool to support good causes and bring people together.

Fans were especially moved by this invitation, seeing it as a strong message of inclusion. Many compared it to Coldplay’s earlier gesture in Mumbai, India, where the band held a special “Touch Tour” for visually impaired fans to experience music through vibration sensors.

Galaxy Corporation, G-Dragon’s agency, confirmed that this is just the beginning. “The artist will continue to offer meaningful invitations during the tour,” they said.

G-Dragon continues to show that music is more than just sound — it’s a way to touch hearts and make a real difference.
