• Super Junior’s Kyuhyun opens up about criticism from ‘The Devil’s Plan 2’ and says not everything was shown

    Super Junior’s Kyuhyun has finally spoken up after receiving backlash over his appearance on Netflix’s The Devil’s Plan: Death Room (also known as The Devil’s Plan 2), and he's keeping it honest and calm.

    On May 21, Kyuhyun reached out to fans through a private communication platform, opening up about how he feels after the show ended. “The production team probably couldn’t include everything in the broadcast,” he shared. “I have a lot of regrets too, but it can’t be helped.”

    The Devil’s Plan 2 released its final episode on May 20, and while the winner was revealed, some fans weren’t happy with Kyuhyun’s words and actions during the show. Criticism quickly spread online.

    Kyuhyun gently responded by saying, “I’ll share more details later.” He also added, “Among the cast members, we’re really close. We understand each other and have a good relationship, so please look at it nicely. Everyone has their own side of the story.”

    The Devil’s Plan 2 is a brain survival game where 13 players from different professions live together for 7 days and compete to prove who’s the smartest. This season’s cast included Lee Se Dol, Kyuhyun, Kang Ji Young, Yoon So Hee, Seven High, Lee Seung Hyun, Jung Hyun Gyu, Choi Hyun Joon, Chuu, Kim Ha Rin, Park Sang Yeon, Son Eun Yoo, and Tino.

    Despite the criticism, many fans are showing support for Kyuhyun, praising him for handling the situation with maturity.
