NCT WISH will not be able to perform at the highly anticipated SMTOWN LIVE 2025 concert in Los Angeles due to visa issues.
On May 10, NCT WISH’s agency, SM Entertainment, shared the news on their official social media accounts, explaining that the group would not be able to attend the event due to complications with their visas.
SM Entertainment stated, "We submitted all the necessary documents and completed the required procedures, including interviews, to receive visa approval for the concert."
They added, "However, due to an unexpected delay in the approval process, we were unable to obtain the visas."
They went on to say, "At this point, it's difficult to determine the exact cause for the delay. Despite our best efforts, we were not able to get the visa in time, and the group will not be able to perform."
The agency continued, expressing regret, "We feel deeply sorry and heavy-hearted for the fans who were looking forward to NCT WISH’s performance."
They added, "We tried everything until the last moment to secure the visa, but in the end, we could not keep our promise, and we sincerely apologize."
Meanwhile, NCT WISH recently released their second mini-album poppop on April 14. The SMTOWN LIVE 2025 concert in L.A. is set to take place on May 11 at the Dignity Health Sports Park in Los Angeles.
