• Kang Ha Neul Insists He’s Not a “good guy,” but Fans Say Otherwise after His Latest Act of Kindness goes Viral

Actor Kang Ha Neul may have a reputation for being one of the kindest stars in the industry, but he wants to set the record straight—he’s not as nice as people think!

On March 18, Kang Ha Neul sat down for an interview in Jongno, Seoul, ahead of the release of his new thriller film Streaming.

The actor, who is often called a “good deed machine”, surprised everyone by saying, “I’m not a nice person. I don’t even try to live kindly—I just try to have fun.”

He even admitted, “I curse too.” However, despite his words, he couldn’t help but share yet another story that proves just how thoughtful he really is.

During the interview, Kang Ha Neul revealed what really makes him angry. “I get upset when I see rudeness,” he said. “For example, if I see a friend mistreating a delivery worker, I’ll tell them, ‘Go back and apologize.’”

He explained that he simply cannot tolerate disrespect, no matter how small. His words only added to his image as a genuinely kind-hearted person, despite his attempts to say otherwise.

During the interview, Kang Ha Neul also shared an interesting story from his younger days in the industry.

He admitted that he has a "trauma" when it comes to looking directly into camera lenses.

“When I was young, a camera director was setting up, and I looked into the lens while fixing my hair. I got the biggest scolding of my life. They told me, ‘Do you think the sacred camera is your personal mirror?’”

He explained that, even though things have changed since then, he still struggles to look directly at cameras.

Known for his warm and friendly image, Kang Ha Neul is making a shocking transformation in Streaming, where he plays Woo Sang, the top crime channel streamer who tracks down a serial killer while broadcasting the entire process live.

With his latest comments, fans are joking that Kang Ha Neul is trying too hard to convince people that he’s not nice—but his actions prove otherwise!

  • Lee Jun Young says he felt guilty and cried after acting mean to a grandma in 'Brave Citizen'

Lee Jun Young recently opened up about the emotional toll of playing a villain—and how one powerful scene made him break down in tears behind the scenes.

On the May 1st episode of KBS 2TV’s variety show Problem Child in House, Lee Jun Young appeared alongside co-star Jung Eun Ji to promote their new KBS drama Pump Up the Healthy Love.

During the show, Lee Jun Young was asked about the most unforgettable villain he’s played. He chose his role as Han Su Gang in the film Brave Citizen.

He explained, “It was really tough to film. I had to act like I was leading school violence, and there was even a scene where I bullied a grandmother.”

The hosts were surprised, pointing out how kind and gentle he seems in real life. Lee Jun Young shared how he transforms for such roles.

“I try to act as bad as I can, but sometimes the director says, ‘You still look too nice.’ Then I focus even harder and adjust right away.”

He also revealed that filming one particular scene hit him hard emotionally. “My real grandmother was sick at the time,” he said.

“In one scene, there’s a grandma selling gimbap, and I ad-libbed by stubbing a cigarette out on the gimbap. I was really into character, but after filming, I just broke down. So many thoughts came to me and I started crying.”
