• Park Hee Soon Denies Tax Evasion Claims of 800 Million KRW: "It's a Dispute, Not Evasion"

Actor Park Hee Soon is speaking out after being accused of evading taxes worth around 800 million KRW.

On February 18th, Park's agency, NSEEM, clarified the situation, telling Star News, "Since his debut, Park Hee Soon has always filed his taxes properly with the help of his tax representative. This issue came up during a routine tax process with the authorities and isn’t related to any wrongdoing on the actor’s part."

The agency further denied reports suggesting that Park had initiated a tax dispute. They explained, "The claim that a tax dispute procedure was started is not true. The matter is still in the pre-review stage. Both the actor and the agency are surprised by the reports since no final decision has been made yet. The disagreement is between the tax authorities and the tax representative, and the situation is being worked out. It will be resolved soon."

Earlier, Field News reported that Park Hee Soon was under investigation by the National Tax Service last year and was asked to pay an additional 800 million KRW in taxes.

While the reason behind this extra tax is not clear, it is believed to be linked to a tax probe into his former agency, Starship Entertainment.

After his contract with Starship ended in 2021, Park Hee Soon moved to Salt Entertainment and then to NSEEM (formerly IOK Company) in 2023.

He is currently disputing the tax investigation results and is working on resolving the issue.

  • Tomorrow X Together (TXT) shock fans by hitting No. 1 in Japan with 'Love Language' while on tour—only K-pop act in top 5

Tomorrow X Together (TXT) is once again showing their global power!

On May 4, BigHit Music announced that TXT’s latest digital single “Love Language” had climbed to No. 1 on Line Music Japan’s ‘Top 100 Songs’ daily chart, just a day after its release.

The song debuted at No. 12 on May 2 and jumped 11 spots to grab the top spot on May 3. Over on Oricon’s ‘Daily Digital Single Ranking’, the song also ranked high at No. 2, making TXT the only international artist to rank in the top 5 on both major Japanese charts.

But TXT’s success isn’t just limited to Japan. “Love Language” also topped iTunes ‘Top Songs’ charts in nine countries and regions, including Japan, Mexico, Chile, Argentina, and Portugal. The track also charted high on the Worldwide iTunes Songs chart, standing proudly alongside songs by global pop giants.

Love Language is a sweet and emotional track that compares love to learning a new language. TXT members express the desire to understand someone they care about, even when it’s not easy to communicate.

The song is especially meaningful because the group dropped it as a surprise gift for fans during their ongoing world tour, ‘ACT : PROMISE’ – EP. 2.

Fans are going wild over the song’s catchy vibes, sharp group choreography, and one unforgettable moment where the members briefly lift their shirts, showing their abs—a performance detail that’s gone viral across fan communities.

TXT is clearly not slowing down, and Love Language is another major step in their rise as a global K-pop powerhouse.
