MBC’s A Bona fide Killer has reached another personal best in viewership, continuing its strong rise as the drama moves closer to the 10 percent mark.
According to Nielsen Korea, episode 5 of the Friday-Saturday drama, which aired on August 14, recorded a nationwide household rating of 9.8 percent. The episode also earned 9.5 percent in the Seoul metropolitan area, marking the drama’s highest ratings so far.
The show performed especially well among viewers aged 20 to 54, recording 3.8 percent and ranking No. 1 among all programs broadcast that day in the key demographic.
Episode 5 continued to balance Yoo Bo Na’s double life, with Gong Hyo Jin’s character dealing with both an operation involving her team and unexpected problems at home.
One of the episode’s emotional moments came when Kwon Tae Sung, played by Jung Joon Won, defended his wife during a tense family situation.
He firmly told his mother, “Just as I’m your precious son, she is my precious wife.”
The episode also followed Yoo Bo Na’s team as they prepared a casino operation involving their latest target. However, unexpected developments caused their carefully planned mission to become more complicated.
Meanwhile, Kwon Tae Sung continued investigating a suspicious accident connected to a construction company, adding another layer of mystery without revealing how the different storylines may eventually connect.
The episode ended with Yoo Bo Na and Kwon Tae Sung arriving at the same casino for completely different reasons, creating tension as their separate lives came dangerously close to crossing paths.
