• Chun Jung Myung’s Father is a Famous CEO—Here’s Why He Refuses to Take Over the Business

On the December 8 episode of SBS's My Little Old Boy, Chun Jung Myung opened up about his five-year hiatus and shared surprising details about his wealthy background, confirming long-standing rumors.

The episode featured Kim Heechul and Lee Sang Min visiting Chun Jung Myung to surprise him with a birthday celebration. While chatting, the actor reminisced about how he first met Kim Heechul.

Chun Jung Myung shared, “I met Heechul through JYP’s Jinyoung hyung. After finishing my military service, I wanted to have some fun before starting a new project. I went to a club, where I met Jinyoung hyung."

He added, "At the time, 2PM’s Taecyeon was under his agency, and through Taecyeon, we became acquaintances. Jinyoung hyung even got me hooked on clubs back then”, he said, laughing.

When asked if he dances at clubs, Kim Heechul teased, “Jung Myung hyung stays quiet at clubs”. Chun Jung Myung admitted, “I wanted to dance but couldn’t, so I took a one-point dance lesson for R&B music. I even learned a specific dance style”, before hilariously showing off his moves, making everyone laugh.

The conversation then turned to his financial situation during his five-year break. Chun Jung Myung revealed, “I lived off savings from when I was younger. I’ve always been good at saving. If I earned 1 million won, I’d save 900,000 won. My parents taught me to save for the future, and it stuck with me.”

Lee Sang Min brought up Chun Jung Myung’s father, saying, “Your father is the CEO of a highly successful textile company.” Chun Jung Myung responded, “Yes, but my father has no plans to pass the business to me. I believe in paving my own way in a different field, and my father thinks the same.”

Kim Heechul jokingly added, “Then hand it over to me!” which brought a round of laughter, wrapping up the lighthearted conversation.

Fans were thrilled to learn more about Chun Jung Myung’s life and his funny stories, making the episode a must-watch!

  • Former BB Girls Star Yujeong Makes Solo Debut, Talks About Her Iconic Laugh and 'Rollin' Success

Yujeong, former member of BB Girls, has officially made her solo debut, marking a new chapter in her career!

On January 19th, Yujeong appeared on MBC's King of Masked Singer, where she faced off against the reigning champion, "Flower-scented Perfume", in a thrilling second-round match.

Yujeong, performing under the name "Handbell", sang Na Yoon Kwon's "Expectation", but despite her efforts and praise from the original artist, she didn’t make it to the third round, earning 79 votes.

It was then revealed that the talented "Handbell" was none other than Yoojung, the star behind BB Girls' iconic "Rollin’" chart reversal.

After leaving BB Girls in April 2024, Yoojung has been pursuing her solo career, and King of Masked Singer marked her first solo stage performance. She confessed, "I realized I’ve never sung alone on stage since debut. It’s really nerve-wracking."

During the show, the MC praised Yoojung for her contribution to BB Girls’ success, especially the viral hit “Rollin’” and her memorable "Kkobukjwa" laugh, which helped the group rise to fame.

However, Yujeong humbly gave credit to all the members, saying, "I don’t think it was just me, but all the members worked hard for it. I have a loud laugh, and when I was in school, I often got scolded by teachers. I think people loved me because my laughter made them smile, so I will keep laughing more in the future."

Yujeong also shared a touching moment from her time with BB Girls, recalling a special fan gift from a soldier. "

"There was a soldier who drew my face exactly the same and gave it to me as a gift. I cried a lot looking at the pencil marks and eraser marks all over the paper. I was so grateful," she said.

Looking ahead, Yujeong is ready for her solo journey, sharing, "I’m preparing a solo album. I’m also challenging myself with various variety shows, MC roles, and acting, so I hope you will continue to watch and support me."
